Retention and Recruitment Assessment
Would you like to consider an approach that is holistic in increasing total enrollment? A TFA R & R Assessment provides an experienced external look at your strengths, challenges, and opportunities to increase new student enrollment and improve retention and graduation rates. Most importantly, you receive five top priorities to increase enrollment—and specific action steps customized to your campus.
Here’s how it works
- During a conversation about your campus and issues related to enrollment, we decide on a list of materials for you to send TFA to help your consultants prepare for an effective on-site consultation. We also discuss what meetings will be most helpful in understanding the current and desired state of retention/ recruitment and develop an itinerary that reflects that.
- Two consultants—one with expertise in retention and one in recruitment—conduct two days of meetings with faculty, staff, administrators, and students.
- On the second afternoon, your consultants lead a discussion through a campus-customized PowerPoint exit presentation that includes five top priority recommendations for action that will have the greatest impact on retention and another five initiatives to improve marketing/recruitment.
- The consultants then spend just 15 minutes proposing how your campus and TFA might work together to achieve your enrollment goals. This proposal is totally customized and informed by the findings of the consultation—NOT “canned” or generic, and is totally optional. The results of the R & R Assessment are made for your institution to implement, whether we partner in the future or not.
- You receive the slide presentation to begin work on the recommendations immediately.
- TFA sends you–within ten business days–a written executive summary and proposal for a customized partnership.
