Gerard (Gerry) Rooney has more than 25 years of successful enrollment management experience at private four-year colleges and universities. Most recently, he has served as Vice President for Enrollment Management and External Relations at St. John Fisher College (NY). During his tenure at Fisher, the institution has experienced dramatic enrollment growth, advancing in size from 2,300 to more than 3,700 students. This has resulted in an increase in net student revenues of more than $30M annually.
Before St. John Fisher, Rooney served as Dean of Enrollment Management at St. Francis College (PA). In addition to overseeing admissions and financial aid functions at St. Francis, he served as a member of the College Retention Committee and helped to establish and co-direct the Summer Orientation and Academic Registration (SOAR) Program.
Mr. Rooney has held leadership positions in several state and national organizations, including serving as President of the Pennsylvania Association of Catholic College Admission Officers and the National Catholic College Admission Association.
