Dr. Warner has led statewide programs in higher education for much of his career. Currently he is the Commissioner of Higher Education for the state of Rhode Island and also served as Vice Chancellor of the Massachusetts Board of Education. He has enjoyed a wide range of positions including Associate Chancellor at UMASS Dartmouth, Dean of Student Affairs at Bristol Community College, and an instructor in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
