Dr. Kathyrn Baugher has served for more than a decade as the chief enrollment officer at Belmont University in Tennessee, where she was instrumental in the development of Belmont Central, the University’s nationally recognized one-stop shop for student services. At Belmont, she has led strategic marketing initiatives, innovative recruitment and admissions efforts, and spearheaded successful retention plans.

Dr. Baugher’s experience in enrollment began when she was appointed dean of admissions at her alma mater, Samford University. Her current interests involve applications of continuous improvement in the classroom (the LEARN process), administrative issues (e.g., services integration and Banner imaging), and customer service and customer loyalty. Kathy has been actively engaged in a variety of academic and consulting endeavors that reflect her expertise, such as student services mainstreaming and the development of strategic enrollment management plans. Dr. Baugher has authored numerous articles and book chapters and is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences and workshops.
