Phil Conroy is presently vice president for enrollment management and marketing at Mount Ida College where he has assisted in growing undergraduate enrollment by more than 35%. He has led the effort to increase retention at Mount Ida by 15% in three years. These efforts have lead to significant growth in net tuition revenue, resulting in significant operating surpluses for the institution.
Mr. Conroy oversees Mount Ida’s recruitment and retention operations with direct supervision of admissions, financial aid, and marketing. He coordinates the college’s retention activities including first-year and sophomore year targeted initiatives. In addition, he chairs the internationalization task force. He has served public and private institutions in teaching and administrative position in enrollment management, financial aid, and advancement.
He is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences on recruitment and retention, internationalization, marketing, and advancement. He is the recipient of CASE Circle of Excellence Awards and numerous Admissions Marketing Report Gold Awards.
