Peter Vogel is an educator, consultant, and noted speaker on advancing cross-cultural relations in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. He has worked in nearly every area of the world to assist people and groups in need of a better understanding and appreciation of our differences. He directed and managed worldwide admissions, financial aid, student marketing and registrar operations for Up With People, a $30 million international multicultural youth leadership and exchange program.

The founder and current president of CulturePrep, Inc., Mr. Vogel has previously served as Director of Admissions at Presentation College in South Dakota and Coordinator of Multicultural Admissions at both Albright College (PA) and Mount Senario College (WI). In addition, Mr. Vogel spent six years at the Philadelphia-based KidsPeace National Center for Kids in Crisis, developing and executing programs offering alternative positive lifestyle choices for troubled youth. He received an award from the Mayor of Reading, Pennsylvania, for his dedication to fostering cultural awareness and racial harmony and was the 2003 recipient of School Mediation Center’s “Peacebuilder of the Year” Award.

Mr. Vogel has addressed enthusiastic college audiences on the subject of attracting, serving and retaining a culturally diverse campus community. He has a solid background in introducing innovative programs and services that address the changing and growing issues of multicultural communities struggling with conflict. His experiences led him to design Safe to Relate, CulturePrep’s proprietary cross-cultural advancement system and curriculum, and for several years Mr. Vogel has been administering Safe to Relate workshops and mediation services worldwide to schools, businesses, faith-based organizations, and communities seeking to establish and sustain a diversity-friendly.
