Clients come to us with a variety of reasons for wanting TFA to host a faculty workshop. Underlying all of those reasons, though, is the tacit recognition that the quality of the interface students have with faculty is often the number one predictor of student persistence. There are few things more vital in higher education than fostering positive faculty-student interactions. This workshop serves as a bonding agent across various constituencies and stakeholders, helping to generate enthusiasm for student-centered approaches and eradicating bad habits.
